Mr. Kelvin ONG is Chief of the Security Council Subsidiary Organs Branch where he oversees 14 Security Council sanctions regimes, 10 expert panels (61 sanctions experts), and the Iran nuclear issue (implementation of resolution 2231). Before joining the UN, he worked at the International Peace Academy (IPA), a New York-based think tank, where he directed a research programme on the UN and regional organizations. Before leaving Singapore, he served in the Singapore military for 11 years.
